These release notes document new features and bug fixes implemented since the last release as well as important information regarding installation and configuration. Please print this document for your records.

This update is for FastPage 3.01 Single Site and ISP Licenses only. If you have FastPage 3.0 (original release), upgrade to 3.01 first.

New FastPage Profile Manager
A new web-based utility is included with this update. Once installed, you can add, edit and delete profiles from the server using this web utility. See the included documentation for more information.
Enable/Disable Authentication
You can now specify whether a username and password is required to edit your pages. For people who have numerous profiles for their site, consider using this option and put normal HTTP password security on the fastpage3.cgi (or .pl) script itself.
Hosts Allow/Deny access to FastPage
You can now specify IP addresses or network addresses for users who ARE or ARE NOT allowed to use the FastPage program on your server. Use this feature to prevent people from trying to hack your site.
Input fields for the FastPage editor are now adjustable
In the fp3-config.pl file, you can now change the default sizes for the input fields in the editor. This includes columns and rows for textinput boxes, and size attributes for plain text input fields.
New LINK field type
There is a new field type available in this release. The LINK field type can be used to specify a URL and text (to be clicked on).
Max Filesize Upload Limits
In the fp3-config.pl file, you can now control the maximum filesize allowed for image uploads and DLFILE uploads.
Image delete option
In the FastPage editor, there is now a "delete" checkbox for IMG and IMGADV fields. For images uploaded with FastPage, when you upload a new image, the old image can be deleted when this is checked. Only images that reside in the images directory (as specified in the fp3-config.pl file) can be deleted.

Configurable File Mode for uploaded/created files
For added security, the permissions for uploaded and saved files can now be configured. The default file mode (specified in octal) is set in the fp3-config.pl file.
IP security for saving changes in FastPage editor
FastPage did not check the ip address of the user when saving changes to make sure it was the same as the user that logged in. This has been fixed in this release.

This update is completely backward compatible with web pages and config files designed for use with the previous release(s) of FastPage. For information on installing the update, please see the install.txt file included in the download.
